Team Members



The Centre for Doctoral Studies operates under the supervision of the Directorate of Research and is coordinated by a Director/Coordinator of Doctoral Studies. Roles and Responsibilities



The centre manages PhD admissions, scholar registration, supervisor allocation, coursework coordination, progress monitoring, and thesis evaluation processes. It ensures compliance with university regulations and national guidelines such as UGC regulations for doctoral programs.

Workflow



The doctoral process includes admission notification, entrance examination and interview, scholar registration, coursework completion, research proposal presentation, periodic progress reviews, thesis submission, external evaluation, and final viva voce examination.

Services



Academic guidance for PhD scholars, research methodology training, supervisor coordination, thesis submission management, and maintenance of a database of doctoral scholars, supervisors, and completed theses for institutional reporting and accreditation.

Activities



CDS organizes research methodology workshops, doctoral seminars, thesis writing training programs, orientation sessions for new scholars, interdisciplinary research discussions, and doctoral colloquia to strengthen research capacity.
